Outside of the things above…. ENJOY NEW ORLEANS at your leisure.
I do not want to monopolize folks schedules.
Y’all can and should explore this amazing city of people and culture.

The birthday King will be in NOLA from the 21st to the 26th (early morning departure)

Let the games begin!

Attire Inspiration Station

“Shades of Melanin”
chic, classy, dressy

A celebration of our tones, hues, variations of pigmentation presentation, and beauty. A call to be seen, heard without words, boldy show up in skin and color. We are one magnificent people who deserve to use every living day as a day to shine and lift each other. A strong people of poetic expression that cannot be ignored.

Show up and show off!

Cash or Card?

I suggest bringing CASH if you can for the weekends festivities. We will be visiting just ONE WEEK POST official Mardi Gras as I don’t care for too large of a crowd. Avoid any credit card issues.

Cards are also acceptable throughtout the majority of the city.

Cash makes like easier and expedient.

Tip where you can. NOLA is usually %18 plus.

Getting Around Downtown

New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA or NORTA)

Use the cute streetcar to get around.!
The site offers trip planner and routes/schedule options with realtime arrivals and estimated drop off times.

Uber and Lyft are available.
A ride through the city usually averages $10-15. I tend to get XLs. Treat yaself!

Walk.
Get those steps in. Everything in the French Quarter is a beautiful Spanish architecture sight to be seen.

NOLA C.T.C. Steppers Second Line Parade

After brunch DOWNTOWN culture experience.

Learn about the history of second line bands and parades via
New Orleans Tourism and the Historic New Orleans Collection.
